Please join us for an exciting, full day of information on career paths from practicing professionals as well as new product information and current trends from Michigan Design Center showrooms. Get the latest information on NCIDQ requirements and benefits – in today’s complex world, designers need to be concerned not only with aesthetics, but with the designed safety of interiors for home owners, business owners or users of public and private spaces. The professional designer panels include designers in hospitality, film industry, education and healthcare, all growing fields in our area. Students are invited to bring resumes and / or application forms if interested in internships. One-on-one portfolio reviews by a professional will be available if you indicate interest on your reservation.
Admission is $20.00 and includes presentations, continental breakfast and lunch.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
ASID, MI Chapter Junior and Senior Design Competition is open to students that are ASID student chapter members and is co-sponsored by the ASID Michigan Chapter and Michigan Design Center. Guidelines have been distributed to faculty contacts at each college and students should ask their instructors for further information. If your faculty has not received info have them email the ASID office at admin@asidmi.org. Projects must be submitted by March 5th to the ASID Office at Michigan Design Center for judging. Winners will be announced at Student Career Day.
The Ghiordes Knot / ASID 21st Annual Student Creative Space Competition is open to students of ASID affiliated schools for an opportunity to win $800 in prize money. IIDA Michigan Chapter Student Essay Competition is open to juniors and seniors in a Michigan College or University Interior Design Program and who are IIDA Michigan Chapter Student members.
