Thoughtful custom details using a variety of traditional materials create a refreshing vision for today's family dining room. Nothing in the room is extravagant. The contrasting textures in various shades of cream to cafe-au-lait combine to create an inviting backdrop in which to share a family meal.

The leather dining room table with a nail-head decoration anchoring each end was designed for casual entertaining. Its simple linear shape, in strong contrast to the traditional shield back chairs, provides a welcome replacement to Grandmother's double-pedestal mahogany table.

The upholstered side chairs finished with a lovely scroll motif are reminiscent of a Chippendale design, a pair of arm chairs covered with a plush chevron textile are a stylish and comfortable addition. Custom made pieces such as the iron sconces, drapery hardware and console tables add the finishing touches.
