Specializing in residential and commercial design, Diane’s passion and attention to detail is what sets her apart as a leader in custom design. Diane has the technical knowledge and background to produce blueprints and custom details. She has the ability to work with a variety of clients and styles from traditional to contemporary. Her style of communication through interviews, conversational questioning, presentations, computer aided 3-D design and hand sketching allow for the culmination of exceptional design with a high level of client satisfaction. “I’m amazed at Diane’s incredible knowledge and resourcefulness. She is always on top of everything that is new and innovative in the design and construction business,” says Shadia Martini of Martini Construction Company.
A graduate of Lawrence Technological University with a dual degree in Architecture and Design and over 15 years of experience, Diane has won multiple awards including First Place in 2005 for Detroit Home's Entire Home Design Award and an award in 2004 for Home Office Design. She has been published in such magazines as Better Homes and Gardens, Hour Detroit, Detroit Home and the Detroit News Homestyle magazine. Her work has also been shown in the Detroit Free Press, Observer and Eccentric newspapers and on Channel 7. She is the principle designer and the owner of Diane Hancock Designs, Inc., a design firm specializing in traditional to contemporary design for residential and commercial projects, located in White Lake. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the US Green Building Council and Michigan Design Center’s Design Connection program. |
