Jan’s designs consolidate function
with aesthetics. Fresh and personal, her approach reflects
the ability to listen and deliver. Jan McCollum began her career in the classroom in 1980 as an
elementary, preschool, and music teacher. Jan poured her creative
energies into designing unique, positive classroom environments
that supported the concepts she taught and encouraged innovation,
creativity, and learning in her students. In 1989 Jan returned
to the classroom, this time as a student, to pursue her childhood
passion for design. In 1999 Jan launched J
Parker McCollum, Inc.,
a full-service interior design firm. Now in its ninth year, the
firm’s
credits include a wide range of residential projects, commercial
venues and furniture design. Jan’s work has been featured
in several local papers and magazines. She is a professional
member of CID, International. |
