Clients appreciate Michael's dedication to making every interior an authentic reflection of its owner.
Michael’s life-long enthusiasm for interiors made leaving his successful automotive business in 2004 easy. Even as a child he recalls adjusting furniture placement, accessories and lighting in his family home in Birmingham, Michigan. He opened his design studio in November 2006.
Since then the firm has designed projects as intimate as a master suite to entire large custom homes. Michael has clients throughout Michigan as well as Florida, suburban Chicago and East Hampton, New York. His style is classic and modern incorporating new pieces with antiques from around the world. His skill with sense of space, scale and placement are key to his ability to create lovely interiors. He has been published in the Design Ideas for Fireplaces, a book photographed by Beth Singer, and was recently in the Detroit Free Press and Detroit News.
Michael is a committed philanthropic partner in the Michigan design community, volunteering his time and talent to organization such as Suite Dreams, Catwalk and the Birmingham Showhouse both in support of the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. He was the 2008 recipient of the Brian Killian Designing Angel Award. |
