Smith Design. Whether you are renovating an entire home or business
or focusing on one special accessory item, all of her designs
are flexible and custom. Each design element is reflective of
a client’s personal style and taste, creating an eclectic
blend of transitional furnishings, mixed with timeless elements,
providing a space that is both functional and inviting.
A graduate of Adrian College, Shana began her career with an
interior design firm in Harbor Springs, Michigan. After relocating
to Oakland County, she became one of the premiere designers at McGowen
Associates in Rochester, working under the tutelage of
Nancy McGowen. In 2004 Shana opened her own design business,
SL Smith Designs where she has experienced rapid growth with
her ever increasing referral base.
Her home has been featured in Better Homes
and Gardens Holiday Decorating and Better
Homes and Gardens Cottage Style. Her work
will be featured in the upcoming issue of Better
