“It’s our role as Certified Kitchen Designers to help our clients and their design team in a way that’s rewarding, not overwhelming.”
“Design is my life” says Vita Buffa, luxury kitchen designer for Extraordinary Works.
Vita’s credentials are impressive. She is a Certified Kitchen Designer through the National Kitchen and Bath Association, certified by the National Council of Interior Design, a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, listed on the State of Michigan list of Interior Designers and certified in dressmaking design.
Her work speaks for itself. She has designed many kitchens over the past 25 years, including showcase kitchens and displays for Michigan Design Center, American Society of Interior Designers, as well as remodeled spaces for charity events for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Ronald McDonald House.
Over the years, Vita has seen many changes. “Today, consumers have so many choices, found on the Internet and in do-it-yourself home centers. They’re more informed yet often more confused,” says Vita. “It’s our role as Certified Kitchen Designers to help our clients and their design team in a way that’s rewarding, not overwhelming.”
“While my clients are more knowledgeable, their desires remain fundamentally unchanged. They want to live in spaces that reflect their unique personalities and give them comfort and fulfillment. Above all, they really want to work with a design team they can trust.”
There is an intangible element to kitchen design that you recognize when you enter a beautifully designed space. This is where Vita’s strengths really show. Her imagination and creativity, coupled with her in-depth knowledge of how kitchens function, give her that extra-special touch. |
