HOMEOWNERS LEARN TO BE COLOR-WISE AND HIGH-TECH DURING FREE MICHIGAN DESIGN CENTER SEMINARS

TROY, Mich. – Michigan Design Center (MDC) announced it will host Choosing Color For Your Home: Tips from the professionals at Pittsburgh Paint, and Explore Like Never Before: Learn how to use the new online product search and portfolio tools at MichiganDesign.com, at MDC on Wednesday, September 30, 2009.

The first session with Pittsburgh Paint will be offered from 11 a.m. to Noon, and the second session with MDC from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Both seminars will be held at Michigan Design Center located at 1700 Stutz Drive in Troy. Everyone is welcome and there is no cost to attend either event.

Ruthanne Hanion will lead the presentation: Choosing color For Your Home: Tips from the professionals at Pittsburgh Paint. Hanion is the Allied ASID and National Color and Design Manager for Pittsburgh Paint. She will share tips on choosing colors for the home and provide insight into the different ways to can use color. Individuals are encouraged to bring pillows, fabrics and flooring samples to take advantage of the complimentary color consultations taking place after the presentation.

The second presentation of the day will be Explore Like Never Before: Learn how to use the new online product search and portfolio tools at MichiganDesign.com. The MDC showrooms are now available 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week at the new MichiganDesign.com. During this informative presentation, individuals will learn how to search MDC by product type, manufacturer, showroom, design style and more. Guests are encouraged to visit MDC and explore its showrooms during business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
