With this new large island added during the remodel, the kitchen became the core gathering place of this home. This kitchen showcases a 'green' tile product from Encore, distributed by Beaver tile.

Less is more is the concept of this custom breakfast room addition in a beautiful contemporary home. The ebony finish on the wood dining room chairs from R.J. Thomas is striking contrast to the white and gray marble floor.

Swarovski crystals adorn the beautiful custom mirror, flanked by stunning sconces from France. An old world bronze finish was selected for the vessel sink and faucet from Ann Sacks in this powder room remodel.

An eclectic breakfast nook was designed with a bold punch of red and gold. Furniture from Grange was selected for the space. The banquette adds comfortable seating and is upholstered in Duralee fabric.

Award winning designer Karen Crorey-Dallafior provides design services based on each client’s needs, desires, timeline, budget and lifestyle. Although no two projects are alike, they do share a sense of quality and timelessness. Projects are managed with a detail oriented commitment to quality, creating distinctive design solutions. From the initial space planning through product selection and installation, until the last accessory is in place, every project will receive full attention.

Karen is still pursuing her passion of residential interior design. She obtained her degree from CMU and has been a NCIDQ board certified professional ASID member since 1985. Her work has been published in Home By Design Magazine, Hour Detroit magazine, Detroit Home magazine, and numerous newspapers. Her awards and contributions include 2004 Detroit Home award and contributing writer for Michigan Design Center’s “Design Tips”.
