DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Each client’s esthetic preferences and practical needs should always be the primary considerations when designing interiors. It is my goal to help clients understand what “feeling” they wish the room or rooms being designed to have and then to create for them rooms that reflect their personalities, personal taste and style. I view a project as rewarding when my clients are comfortable in the well-designed spaces that I have created for them.

SPECIALTIES
Urso Designs, Inc., a full-service design firm, provides design consultation from concept to completion in addition to purchasing of goods and services for projects ranging from single rooms to new construction. We are proud of the team of professionals that we have gathered who provide the skills and services that make our design concepts a reality. We give great attention to detail and see each project through to conclusion.

FEE METHODS
We charge an hourly fee plus commission. A retainer is always required. An initial one hour consultation is complimentary.

An Allied Member of ASID engaged in the practice of interior design for over 25 years, my experience ranges from residential projects of all sizes to such diverse contract projects as judicial chambers, offices, a seafood market and a restaurant. I have been involved with design projects throughout Michigan, Florida, New York City, Chicago, Ohio and Arizona. Over the years, my work has been seen in Junior League of Detroit, ASID/Detroit Historical Society and Detroit Symphony Show Houses.
