Technology reveals its flair for drama in Ruffle,
a fascinating window fabric by Pollack. It starts
simply enough with two layers of fabric: a bare
whisper of nylon organza and a reflective polyester
taffeta. The two are embroidered together at
regular intervals with sinuous lines of stitching,
while a laser cuts only the taffeta into wide vertical
ribbons that appear to hang freely in the air. Stop
by Tennant & Associates in Suite 61 to see this
exciting fabric.

Like last year’s popular Naturals collections, new
additions to this collection were inspired by the
movement toward using linen, cotton, and other
natural fibers in home décor. This year, Robert
Allen has introduced an expanded color palette,
drawing in cleaner, richer, and more saturated
shades alongside natural tones. The collection as
a whole tells a “modern rustic” story, weaving in
unique textural looks with global patterns and
Native American Indian motifs. Unexpected
finishes abound with a combination of innovative
and high end handicraft techniques.
