Design Philosophy CLOTH & KIND is a nationally recognized interior design firm led by Principal Interior Designers Krista Nye Nicholas & Tami Ramsay, with studios in Ann Arbor, MI & Athens, GA, and projects nationwide. The two are renowned for their collaborative approach to the design process and for their ability to create spaces with history and heart, story and substance. Each project is layered with a meticulous mix of one-of-a-kind finds and a heavy dose of unique textiles, curated art, and furnishings.
Specialties Our design aesthetic is always classic and patinated with a modern vibe and a worldly influence. We rely heavily on unique and custom textiles, wallcoverings, original works of art, vintage and/or antique pieces paired with edgy new items, and that certain je ne sais quois that is achieved by relentlessly pursuing the individual desires of our clients and by following our instincts. The results are often nothing short of magical, and we love every step of the process.
