Building Facades Using
Porcelain Tiles A.I.A. CEU

Trade members are invited to join Dwyer Marble & Stone for a lunch and learn CEU presentation on the advantages of using porcelain for building facades. Speaker Claudio Petucco, Business Development Manager for Florim Ceramiche, will explain ventilated facades, focus on their sustainability and energy savings, and describe the installation processes and options. Lunch will be provided at 11 a.m., and the presentation will begin at noon, followed by a Q & A session. For more information and to RSVP, click here.

Look for the impending opening of two new MDC showrooms: Chatham House Lifestyle Gallery: A Verellen Boutique, in Suite 102-A, and Leonardo’s Marble & Granite, in Suite 102-B. Chatham House will carry Verellen upholstery and furniture, crafted in High Point, North Carolina. The suite will also house the Weber Knudson Design Firm. Leonardo’s sells, fabricates and installs natural stone, quartz, porcelain tile, and glass.

Thanks to outstanding inventory levels, RJ Thomas Ltd. has a tremendous selection of clearance merchandise throughout their 22,000 sq. ft. showroom. They’ve even created a Clearance Corner in the back of Suite 72 devoted solely to clearance items and all marked at designer net.

Now Showing at Habatat

Habatat Galleries, Suite 39, is honored to offer a display of artists Emily Brock (USA), Hiroshi Yamano (Japan), and Cassandria Blackmore (USA) in their MDC location. All three artists create unique artworks that are in both personal and public collections around the world. Other examples can be seen in the permanent collections of both the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation and the Flint Institute of the Arts. Shown is Emily Brock’s “Green,” (16 x 15 x15”), in cast, fused, and slumped glass.
