See the new spaces that are changing the face of Detroit, and learn how Michael combines his practice of adaptive re-use and contemporary design to create spaces that are uniquely defining Detroit design. Habatat Galleries’ 47th Annual Glass Art Exhibition

Habatat Galleries invite you to celebrate their 47th Annual Glass Art Exhibition at Michigan Design Center (Suite 39), as well as at their Royal Oak art gallery. Habatat offers the finest works of contemporary art glass from around the world. The event is open to the public May 4 through July 5.

Designers, bring your clients by for a special tour; Habatat welcomes the opportunity to work with all design professionals interested in artworks at both locations. Artworks are posted on Glass47.com. Habatat also will be presenting an exhibition of works in clay and glass, Exploded Earth, by renowned artist Steve Tobin in Suite 103. There will be a reception to meet the artist, whose work is pictured, on May 2 from 3 - 5 p.m. The exhibition will be open from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., or by appointment, through June 30.

The Ghiordes Knot Is
on the Move

The Ghiordes Knot will soon be moving from Suite 20 to a more spacious showroom in Suite 90, on the north side of the building. The projected move should be completed sometime in June. The Ghiordes Knot has been selling distinctive rugs and flooring since 1977. Come visit them soon in their new home!
