THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED.
Discover the variety of career paths and the opportunities you can take advantage of at the 14th annual Student Design Forum (formerly Student Career Day) at Michigan Design Center in Troy on Friday, April 7. Meet professionals from many facets of the industry, who will provide valuable insight and advice on available careers for students, how to choose one that’s the best fit, and even how they can get a foot in the door in that discipline.
After a lunchtime roundtable discussion with designers and other professionals, learn about industry trends and new products during designer-led tours of MDC showrooms, which will be followed by an opportunity to select complimentary fabrics and wallcoverings donated by our showrooms.
The day will close with a wrap-up and awards presentation. For those who wish to participate, a one-on-one portfolio review with an instructor will also be available from 3 - 4:30 p.m.
Registration fee is $15 and includes a roundtable lunch and all the day’s activities, beginning with a keynote panel and Q & A. You must register by April 3, 2017.
