Keven Bahoora
Artistic Style: Mixed Media
Keven's work explores the origins of life and the natural processes that define and sustain it. Through themes such as creation, recursion, self-reference, and the passage of time, they redefine the boundaries of representation—embedding life itself into each piece, where the image becomes the medium.
Guided by scientific theories including assembly theory, evolution, and natural selection, Keven explores how natural processes give rise to form and order. Organic and inorganic materials are embedded using methods that mirror life’s underlying principles. His works suspend natural elements in the process of aging and decay, preserving them as lasting expressions of a single moment in time.
