Barbara Gaber
Italcasa Design, Suite 30An award-winning abstract painter, Barbara Gaber studied Fine Arts at the University of Michigan and has exhibited throughout the Midwest. Influenced by the Abstract Expressionist movement, her work embraces freedom, color, and composition—resulting in layered, expressive paintings that reflect both intuition and a deep understanding of form. |
Laurie Tennent
Tennant & Associates, Suite 61Laurie Tennent is known for her dramatic, large-scale botanical photography that merges art and science. Working closely with botanists and conservationists, she captures rare and unusual plant species, transforming them into striking compositions on aluminum. Her work extends beyond the wall, often installed as sculptural elements in both residential and outdoor environments. |
Matthew MacDougall
TRA Art Group, Suite 96Matt MacDougall creates encaustic and mixed media works using molten wax, building richly layered surfaces that explore depth, texture, and transparency. His process—both technical and intuitive—results in abstract compositions with sculptural qualities, often incorporating natural elements to enhance the materiality and visual complexity of each piece. |
Katie Bramlage
Bruce White Gallery, Suite 97A ceramic artist rooted in the Great Lakes region, Katie Bramlage draws inspiration from natural forms shaped by time and water. Her hand-built pieces evoke organic, coastal textures and sculptural movement. Working from her Hazel Park studio, she creates functional and decorative objects that blend geology, craft, and approachable artistry. |
