What makes MDC’s

newest showroom’s beds

unique?

Since 1852, Hästens has been

manufacturing hand-crafted beds

from all-natural, sustainable materials.

The beds have been popular in

Europe for decades and are now

attracting interest from American

consumers. Here’s a cross-section of

one of their most popular beds, the

2000T, illustrating the layers of natural

materials distributed throughout the

bed’s three main sections.

1. COTTON

Breathes and allows air to circulate.

2. WOOL

Acts as the bed’s own climate-control

unit with its natural ability to warm

when it’s cool and cool when it’s warm.

3. POCKET SPRING SYSTEM

The soft and flexible pocket springs

work independently from one another

to conform to your body and provide

surface softness for optimal support

and relaxation.

4. HORSETAIL HAIR

Enhances the spring system by

providing support and pliability.

Horsetail hair also comes with its own

extremely effective, built-in ventilation

system.

5. BONNELL SPIRAL SYSTEM

Lower springs for body support and

absorbs more intense stress levels into

the bed.

6. FLAX

Durable and flexible, flax absorbs

noise and vibration while diverting

static electricity.

7. PINE

Carefully selected pine trees from the

northern forests of Sweden to provide

strength and stability.
